Two businesses recently gave a substantial donation to the Center Park Board. Minnkota and Co-Bank both gave $10,000 to the Moch Lehmkuhkl Park update.
The total cost of updating the park is $60,000, and the two businesses have helped put a huge dent in those costs. The city is still accepting donations for the park. The city has received some free-will donations from other area businesses.
Moch Lehmkuhl Park is the playground that is south of the Oliver County Courthouse. City of Center Deputy Auditor Sandra Erhardt said this park update will benefit the city.
“It’s a good addition to the city for the youth,” Erhardt said.
The city has also applied for grants to fund the park update as well
