The winner of the Mercer County 4-H Council 50/50 Raffle held July 14 at the Mercer County Fair was Jason Sauer of Glen Ullin. Jason received half of the $500 proceeds, with the other half going to the 4-H Leaders’ Council.

While most Bingo games involve humans and chips on a board, this game involved a chicken in a cage-like structure and a board with numbers. The winning square is the one where the chicken leaves its first dropping. The lucky ticket number was No. 79. One hundred tickets were sold by 4-H club families. The Brandon Sailer family provided the chicken for the event.
