Sheriff’s Department report

The Mercer County Dispatch Center received 480 calls for service in July.

Of these calls:

66 were for ambulances

14 were for fire departments

400 were for law enforcement

In July, the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office:

issued 40 citations

issued 31 warnings

investigated 1 motor vehicle crashes

served 71 sets of court papers

The Sheriff’s Office also made 8 criminal arrests in July. All 8 arrests were alcohol related.

The Mercer County Correctional Center housed an average of 20 prisoners a day for the month of July.
